I’ve got a phone interview this week. I’ve done my research on the company. Overall I think they are just hitting a nitch that was waiting a long time to be scratched.
They have a great office close to my home
Offer awesome benefits that will allow me to be part of the drag racing community year round unlike previous employers who reserved the right to refuse any PTO.
(I’ve missed 6 big races in the last 3 years only because of my employers decision not to accept my request for PTO)
And could possibly be where I stay for years to come.
Has anyone worked with TrueCar before ?
Does anyone work for TrueCar ?
Would love to hear the run down. Also if anyone else in the Austin TX area knows of an opportunity feel free to throw it my way.

No advice on the job, just curious about the strategy behind running a v6 in outlaw 10.5, better weight distrubution? Is there a weight break?

Man I think this V6 has really taken the drag racing community by storm. It’s still roughly the same cubic inches as the v8 twin turbo cars. I’m pretty sure this comes in at 500cu but I’m not sure if they UAE league uses the same rules as the US. Keep in mind they run a good amount of 6 cyl 2jz’s so maybe 6 cylinders gets a weight break and they are playing to the rules of the game.

I think your’re asking for my opinion but maybe I misinterpreted your comment. I mean you do scratch an itch, a niche isn’t something you scratch. Maybe I’m just a big dumbass but hey either way good luck man I hope you get the job!
